Out-Dial
Broadcast Application
The
TELEMARK® out-dial broadcast application can be used to program the
WinSeries voice server to perform
out-dials to a pre-defined list of telephone numbers and then if a
successful connection is made it can play pre-recorded announcements,
connect the party to an agents extension, prompt the connected party to
respond to questions via voice or DTMF and route the call to any other
mailbox or audiotext box in the system. The
WinSeries system
administrator can schedule the out-dials without interruptions of regular
voice and fax messaging operations.
How does TELEMARK®
work?
Using a Word Processor you prepare the Telemarketing
Broadcast Control File (TBCF) in ASCII format and store it on a floppy
disk. This file contains a list of destination phone numbers, the desired
scheduled start and stop times to control when the out-dials will occur
and the mailbox/extension number that the connected party will be sent to.
This mailbox could be an audiotext mailbox that plays a greeting and gives
the connected party choices, an extension only mailbox that would transfer
the call to an agent, or a voice message only mailbox that prompts the
caller Upon completion of the Telemarketing operation the
system will generate call delivery reports including delivery status,
number of retries, etc. The TBCF can contain one or multiple lists of
destinations.
You can specify delivery day(s) and time windows, for
instance, after working hours to use lower long distance rates. The floppy
disk is placed in the floppy disk drive to start the broadcast
operation. The
WinSeries
system utilizes "phone line mode sharing" and can support
simultaneous broadcast on all voice lines connected to the
WinSeries System, 24
hours a day, 7 days a week.
