VOICE MESSAGING FOR THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

The WinnInn is a voice messaging system for the Hospitality Industry. While providing all of the standard business voicemail features of a WinSeries system to the hotel administrative staff, this application also provides a variety of additional guest room features that fulfill the requirements of large and small lodging properties such as.....

 

  • Room Check-in: A mailbox with prompts in English, or any one of six languages, is enabled, cleared of any old guest messages, and pre-configured with certain features and functionality as defined by the system administrator.
     
  • Room Swap/Change: Once a mailbox is assigned to a guest any messages it receives will stay with that particular guest even if a room change occurs.
     
  • New Message Indication: Message waiting lights on the guest room phone are activated whenever a voice mail message is deposited into the guest's mailbox.
     
  • Simplified Mailbox Operations: There is no need for the guest to be familiar with the WIinInn System commands, because the this feature greatly enhances the system by streamlining the commands needed for guest message retrieval. To retrieve messages from their room a guest simply dials the system, and listens to the messages. After listening to the message the guest has an option to save or delete the message. This option can be disabled on mailboxes that are for the hotel's administrative staff so that they can have access to the advanced features of the voicemail system.
     
  • Operator/Text Messaging: Allows the hotel operator to take a message for a guest. The guest will then receive a voice message in their mailbox prompting them to "Call the front desk for messages". This notification is activated by a simple command by the operator through the hotel console.
     
  • Check-out Status: Notifies the front desk if there are any messages left in the guest's mailbox at the time of check-out.
     
  • Wake-up Calls: Allows a hotel guest to schedule a wake-up call at their convenience. The hard copy report of wake-up scheduling, canceling, and delivery is available. This feature frees hotel personnel from routine duties while providing a personal service to hotel guests.
     
  • Extended Stay: This option allows the guests to record their own personal greetings and setup personal passwords much like a standard voicemail user.
     
  • Check-in and Comfort Messages: This feature allows the system administrator to setup the system to automatically deliver pre-recorded messages to the guests after check-in or periodically.
     
  • PMS Interface: A data link interface between the WinInn voice server, the hotel's PBX system and the Property Management System which allows synchronization of the guests voicemail box with the PMS systems check-in and check-out functions and control of the new message indication on the guests' telephone. In addition to our own proprietary PMS interface, the WIN Series systems will also interface with virtually any other PMS system on the market today including Encore, CLI, CLS, Fidelio, Lodgistics, Promus, Marlboro and many more....
     
  • Hotel Admin Mailbox: This feature provides an alternate way of performing various guest room administration functions such as checking in and out rooms, setting up wake-up calls, etc.... via a standard touch tone telephone if there isn't any Property Management System or if it is non-functioning.
